So you’re prepping for your next big breakthrough?

Read through to step into my shoes to relive my journey and the strategy I followed that landed me into 2 offers from the leading Software companies and many more recruiters still reaching out with opportunities!

In case you’re wondering…
Yes, LinkedIn hiring is for real!
Recruiters will reach out to you if they find a potential match in you.

So Brand yourself on LinkedIn. If you don’t, no one else will do it for you.

It started giving me dividends when recruiters started reaching out.
I knew the first thing they’d do is to look up for me on LinkedIn!

So I created the content according to what they want to see!

That said, here I’ve scooped out two brief parts of my interview preparation.
Let’s dive in.

  1. Before getting call from a recruiter: This was a casual phase where I majorly focused on networking, learning and regular coding. This phase lasted around 6 months for me where I extensively enhanced my skills (through LinkedIn Learning, Udemy etc). Don’t forget to showcase the certificates on your profile!
    Remember, Branding!
And spend 100s of man hours in crafting that great Resume!
  2. After the interview is setup: This marks the crucial phase where I had limited time before 1st technical round and a mountain of materials to study! I barely had 4–5 days for my 1st tech round.
    Quick tips.
2.1 Solve every frigging problem in DS and Algo on Geeks for geeks or Leetcode based on the company you’re prepping for.
2.2 Try to solve new problems everyday. Helps when you face a new coding challenge during the interview.
2.3 Switch to theory only when you’re bored of coding. Breaks monotony and helps in time management.

Lastly, spend time on improvising communication and negotiation skills.

This was my journey. Tell me yours. :D
